Christmas songs with a rock flavor, everything on this CD is at least decent. There’s not really a bad one here, although few are Christmas “classics”. David Bowie & Bing Crosby come together for their version of “Little Drummer Boy”, blending old and new styles seamlessly (although these days it seems like David Bowie may indeed be “old style”). This CD also includes the classic “Merry Christmas (I Don’t Want to Fight)” by the Ramones. Anything the Ramones do is gold, and this track alone makes this CD worth listening to.
