Holy blklerfab! X-3

X-men 3 trailer.

Christmas entry below. For now, it's all X-men. It looks awesome, but the fact that Joss Whedon turned this movie down because they wanted to rush it out doesn't give me the warm tinglies. A few mixed shots in the trailer, such as:

Magneto's army speech, including a glimpse of Juggernaut (on the left) looking like a refugee from Beyond Thunderfoam.

Angel unfolding his wings.

Beast looking promising here...

But like he's wearing a sweater here...

And like a refugee from "CATS" here in this blurry action scene. Beast is my favorite X-man ever, and I hope they don't mess him up. Is it just me, or does Beast look like a blue version of Wolverine from the comics? And, to anyone who knows our friend Dan, doesn't Beast also look like a blue version of his Dad (that's not an insult, as Dan has said his dad looks like Wolverine before)? Well, except for the "Cats" thing.

Money shot, complete with a scene of the Golden Gate Bridge being destroyed. Looks like they're going with the "war between humans and mutants goes all out".

Final judgement waits for next May, and it'll be an interesting one at that. X-men and Spiderman showed that Marvel can make good comic book movies, but DC seems to have caught up with Batman. Next summer this goes up against "Superman Returns" in a battle for the summer dollar. I know I'll see both opening weekend, but will I bother to ever watch either one again? Only time will tell.
